In short, a smile or an appearance could be result oriented (as if a covering), or it could be genuine (substance). I have always been driven to understand and cultivate these virtues at the core, which alone will put any person into peace with oneself and the world ultimately. Indeed, there is nothing more important than the "intro-work" (or the internal work), and this is why the name Introwork. The Purpose? Ending with this last paragraph, the purpose of this blog is: Portfolio (Career) Hobby (Lifestyle) Interaction (Community) Writers! Let’s wish each other well to keep writing our milestones towards the ...

To err is human, to edit, divine.

I was using Grammarly online tool for corrections when I spotted this quote: To err is human, to edit, divine 😇. I further spotted a quote for the writers: To write is human, to edit, divine. 😁 Here are the first 2 thoughts from a writer's perspective: 1) Writers write and that's not complete yet. There is more to that, which we call Editing .  So there are many wonderful correction tools such as Grammarly but we don't rely on it fully, do we? Grammarly could be the preliminary to publishing our writings. Often there are some corrections in Grammarly that we may disagree with.  So we have to make sure that Grammarly doesn't become our editor, but remains a good assistant. 2) Reading Aloud what we've written is the most essential aspect of editing.  I've heard of this useful tip from many writers and am benefitting personally too. Reading aloud helps in understanding the appropriateness of the used words and sentences, and gives the perspective of readers too. ...

Image
Hello! Readers, It is glad to have you here on my new blog. "I was thinking", what should I write on the blog next? So this is it. Bloggers, if you ever get stuck with this thought, then "Just Do It!". The best piece of advice that I learnt and am working upon. So, if you ever felt that you wanted to Blog but were not convinced enough, I can share a reason from my personal experience. I am trying to make a career as a Freelancer Content Writer. But how to start "without any experience"? And that's why we need a website or a blog, to keep progressing in our writing career. Since writing is the hobby (make sure), then it should continue, and the client shall automatically pick if it serves their purpose. If we have: 1. Good English 2. Genuine interest 3. Creativity everything will fall into place for a writer. But whether are they "sufficiently" good is a problem of perfection. Don't judge yourself, just march ahead! If it's not, someo...

How To Make Resolutions for 2023?

Image
Hello Readers, wishing you all an exciting and successful New Year 2023! Everyone identifies a new year with celebrations. Everyone looks forward to celebrations for their rejuvenation of our hopes, dreams, and the purpose of life. While each of us stars twinkle in our own ways, especially on New Year's Eve, how would it be to keep shining throughout the year? How would it be to have our New Year's Eve excitement expanded to the rest of the year too? After all, a year ultimately translates to months, weeks, and days. Isn’t it? So the wonder question is, what does it take to do that? And as we ask that ourselves, most of us already have the answer upfront owing to its simplicity, just requiring a confident acknowledgement. It’s as simple as “Resolutions”. To elaborate, “planning”, preceded by thinking, and followed by execution. An interesting fact about the New Year Resolution is that 90% of the enthusiasts who start, drop it by the same month's end. And still som...

Dealing with Perfectionism

Image
Hello Readers, This is my first article for the blog. Since this was the topic I was visiting in my mind the most, I considered debuting with it, Perfectionism. Wish me luck 😉 Because of the internet, people nowadays have a good awareness of this trait. I have sometimes seen seniors honestly admit that they struggle with perfectionism and are trying to overcome it. Thanks to the Worldwide Web! The best way to explain perfectionism is through my own example J I thought of spending 30 minutes researching this title and 30 minutes writing. Certainly, the first 30 were an underestimation and the latter 30 extended to 3 rd writing attempt 😆 . I felt dissatisfied with my first 2 attempts – sometimes the content was a lot, the other time I was dissatisfied with the details, and on and on…I hope this one makes it. Bless me, readers!   Perfectionism is a trait, where a person sets a high standard of expectation from himself and at often times from others as well. High stand...
